I’m Malen Mendoza-Baxter, founder of MMB Creative, a designer and steward of family histories.

With more than 30 years of experience in storytelling and design, I create bespoke Remembrance & Tribute coffee table books that celebrate a loved one’s life, character, relationships and the moments that made them unique.

Photographs and memories can scatter, and the stories behind them can be lost over time. My work brings these precious fragments together in a beautifully crafted book, preserving a life story that families can revisit, share and pass down through generations.

My Approach

Every book I create is deeply personal. I carefully weave together photographs, words and meaningful mementoes to create a tribute that truly reflects the person being remembered.

It’s not simply about names, dates and significant events.

It’s about the stories behind them, the ordinary moments that became extraordinary, and the shared experiences, sentiments and treasured memories that continue to stir our hearts long after a loved one is gone.

My process is collaborative, thoughtful and unhurried. I work closely with you to:
