Julie Hughes
Julie Hughes is a compassionate and forward-thinking professional dedicated to helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult moments with clarity, dignity, and care.
With a background in probate services, Julie has built a reputation for offering calm, personalised support—guiding families through complex processes in a way that feels approachable, human, and reassuring.
Her work is rooted in the belief that no one should feel overwhelmed or alone when dealing with loss. By simplifying legal and practical steps into clear, easy-to-understand guidance, Julie empowers her clients to make informed decisions with confidence, often in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Julie founded Firesta Farewell out of a deep desire to transform the way people experience end-of-life planning and farewell arrangements. She recognised a gap in services that truly prioritised empathy, transparency, and personal choice. Firesta Farewell reflects her commitment to creating meaningful, stress-free experiences that honour each individual’s wishes while easing the burden on loved ones.
Outside of her professional work, Julie finds joy in life’s quieter, creative moments. She has a love for crafting and reading, and feels most at peace by the sea or spending time in her caravan—simple pleasures that reflect her appreciation for reflection, comfort, and connection.
Driven by both professional expertise and genuine compassion, Julie continues to champion a more thoughtful, supportive approach—helping families feel cared for, understood, and gently guided every step of the way.
Charlotte Peacock
Charlotte is the Sales Lead at Fiesta Farewell, where she’s passionate about helping people plan funerals that truly reflect who they are. She researches and partners with small, local independent suppliers, carefully ensuring they offer high-quality, reliable, and trustworthy services so users can have complete peace of mind.
Charlotte is a strong advocate for giving visibility to independent businesses in a sector often dominated by large corporations, and she believes no two funerals should look the same – because no two people are.
When she’s not championing meaningful, personal farewells, you’ll likely find her adding to her small but fascinating collection of preserved and taxidermied moths, butterflies, lizards, spiders, and scorpions, which always make for a memorable conversation starter.
Jo Morley
Jo is the Virtual Assistant and Business Support Partner working behind the scenes at Fiesta Farewell.
With a background in project management and years of experience supporting growing businesses, Jo brings structure, clarity and consistency to the operational side of the directory. She focuses on marketing coordination, systems, processes and reporting, ensuring the foundations are strong and the strategy is supported by clear organisation.
Jo also supports Julie across her wider business operations, including administrative support for Hughes Probate, helping to keep tasks moving and priorities aligned. Her role is to reduce the mental load that comes with running multiple ventures, so Julie can focus on leadership, client care and growth.
She runs her own business, Your Inclusive VA, where she provides reliable, thoughtful administrative support to overwhelmed entrepreneurs, particularly those with diverse thinking styles. Her approach is collaborative, calm and solution-focused, centred on building systems that genuinely work in real life.
When she’s not refining processes or coordinating marketing activity, you’ll usually find her at a networking event, out for a walk to reset her thinking, or exploring practical ways technology can simplify business operations.
